At the height of his singing career, Justin Bieber had a mild concussion, a brain injury. As bizarre as it may seem, we’ve all done something similarly clumsy: backstage at a concert, he ran into a glass wall. The resulting concussion caused him to fall unconscious. After one night of rest, he resumed his tour. One wonders if this mental trauma, along with the alcohol and drug abuse that he now admits to, halted his career. He may still be a celebrity, but the frenzy of teenage girls that once surrounded him seem no longer to be there. He is still followed by the paparazzi, but he is married and increasingly spiritual.
Additionally, this year it was revealed the Bieber has Lyme Disease. Lyme disease can cause a brain injury as the bacteria can cross the blood-brain barrier.
